Respect My rights

We get information about sex, relationships and our body in all kinds of ways – from our friends, the internet, TV, movies, magazines, teachers and even our parents.

But not all of it is useful, easy to understand or even relevant to us and our lives. And sometimes it's far from accurate...

Share your most far-fetched 'fact', worst piece of advice or tallest tale here.

You can leave a message, upload a photo or an image, record a video clip... However you choose to share, we want to hear from you.

Did you know?

If you're between 10 and 24, you are part of the largest generation of young people in history – 1.8 billion worldwide.

But you might be surprised to find out that when it comes to staying safe and healthy, the vast majority of young people don't have access to the sexual and reproductive health services, education or information they need. .

The consequences are shocking – nearly 3,000 young people are infected with HIV every day, yet only 34% of young people in developing countries can answer the five basic questions about HIV and how to prevent it.

And complications from pregnancy are the leading cause of death among adolescent girls aged 15 to 19 in developing countries. Most girls who do give birth do so without proper information, health care or support.

This is a human rights violation.
